I came across the offering of this mixtape on a handful of the music blogs I frequent. This is Blu, a South Central LA figure in hip hop. It's amazing. A lot of movie quote sampling which always snags my attention - one reason Wu-Tang is like Pringles for me; once I start an album, I am absorbed until the final note.

Blu's influences are all the roots of my hip hop love - De La Soul, Freestyle Fellowship, Jurrasic 5, Project Blowed...
