This is a fantastic show that I had no idea about because until last week I did not have The Sundance Channel. The Day Before is a 5 part documentary that goes behind the scenes at fashion house the day before their runway show. Each episode follows a different designer—the stellar lineup includes Sonia Rykiel, Proenza Schouler’s Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Karl Lagerfeld for Fendi, and Jean Paul Gaultier—as they prepare their creations for the catwalk. I have only seen the Proenza Schouler episode so far (which was amazing - those boys are so cute I want to carry them around in my pocket.) but I have Fendi on my DVR.

Check your listings. It's a must see for anyone who loves the runway.
