Brilliant movie night - American Teen and The Wackness.
I haven't had a shut in movie night in weeks, so I decided tonite's the night. I just got a handful of flicks and American Teen and The Wackness seemed right.
American Teen is so good. It really does bring me back to High School. I love that the end credits rolled over MGMT's Kids.
I really thought the illustrations that served as interludes were inspired. I'll spread the word on this one.
I am starting The Wackness now. I already know I'm going to dig it and the start credits are still rolling. In this case - the soundtrack is bringing me back to high school. Good freaking times.
Such a great mix of film and music contained in these two flicks - do it! :nod:

Post a CommentI'll have to check these out, I haven't been able to have a movie night in a long time either, but then again, Matt has had complete control of the TV for about 3 months now with his damn Call of Duty game.

And Lore's right, American Teen is VERY good.
i wanted to see american teen in theaters but missed it. good to know its out. i have a free for me sunday (read no kids/husband) so i will be watching that!
I hope you like it, Val. It has a range of people. I thought it was very well done.
I am going to watch The Wackness when I get home tomorrow. I have really wanted to see it for awhile.
I'm taking note of those two movies.
The Wackness was Great! It only stayed in the cinema for a week here. But I was really glad I got to see it.
